SAGAT’s strategic objective is to reconcile the development policies of Turin Caselle Airport, flywheel of the economy of the entire Region of Piedmont, with environment protection requirements in order to establish an eco-sustainable airport system.
 

The main aims of SAGAT’s environment management policy include application of specific legislation, cooperation with neighbouring communities and local authorities within the framework of specific plans and, where possible, mitigation of the impacts (air, water, noise and waste) of Airport activities.

 

This environmental factor is perceived to a major extent by the communities located close to the Airport. SAGAT is committed to efficient, effective management of this issue through constant communication and dialogue with the competent Authorities and the development of monitoring and operating procedures able to reduce acoustic impact.
