ISO 9001 Certification
In December 2009 SAGAT S.p.A. obtained Certification to ISO 9001/2008 of its quality management system by TUV Italia, a major German certifying body forming part of the TUV South Group.
Owing to Certification the control and monitoring systems of the quality provided have been strengthened and much care has been given to airport user satisfaction through regular and intensive surveys.
The typical certified activities of the airport Operator include: the assignment and operation of the central infrastructures and operational supervision, flight operational planning and coordination, infrastructure maintenance and assistance to passengers with reduced mobility.
Also the controlled company SAGAT Handling S.p.A. obtained ISO 9001/2008 Certification in December 2009.
ENAC Certification
Turin airport was certified by ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) on 30 November 2004 following suitable controls of conformity with the safety requirements specified by the Regulation for the construction and operation of airports, that has introduced the technical contents of the ICAO annexes (in particular of Annex 14 Volume 1 Aerodromes) with regard to both the physical characteristics of the airport (infrastructures, installations, systems, neighbouring areas) and the company and operating organisation of the operator (meaning series of means, personnel and procedures).
